Description

The Accumulair Diamond 19x21x1 air filter contains one of our most efficient filter media. Made of a high-performance Tribo-Electric synthetic media, the Accumulair Diamond air filter takes electrostatic filtration to the next level. This special material, made of a co-polymer blend, creates one of the highest filtration efficiencies without comprising your system's airflow. These unique fibers are also hydrophobic, meaning they will not absorb moisture or support the growth of harmful contaminants. To increase durability, the pleated media is laminated to a metal backing that is recyclable, galvanized, and corrosion-resistant. The filter has been tested to perform at the Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value of 13 (MERV 13) by an independent lab according to ASHRAE Standard 52.2. This filter is designed to capture up to 98% or more of airborne contaminants such as dust, lint, dust mite debris, cement dust, lead dust, standing dust, insecticide dust, small fibers, pet dander, fine powders, auto emissions, fine powders, tobacco smoke, smog, and other airborne contaminants. All MERV data and statements are indicative of typical properties and characteristics obtainable. MERV claims are to be used as a guide for general comparison and not as a specification.
