FSI AVENGER GRID 6"" STEEL TOE WORK BOOT. The Avenger A7242 Grid Steel Toe Safety Boot has everything you need for the job, designed with a leather and mesh upper that is both breathable and durable and a certified steel safety toe cap that will help protect your toes. This safety boot was constructed with a removable double-cushion insole and a direct attach slip-resistant outsole to provide long lasting comfort and safety. Avenger's steel safety toe cap styles provide maximum toe room for comfort and the ultimate in protection for safety. Avenger's structured steel cap is capable of withstanding over 2,500 lbs. of compression and 75 lbs. of impact. All of Avenger's safety toe styles meet or exceed ASTM 2413-11 I/75 C/75 impact and compression specifications. TECHNOLOGIES: Steel Safety Toe Cap - provide maximum toe room for comfort and the ultimate in protection and ergonomic benefit. Impact Compression Standards - Under the ASTM Class 75 test for impact, a shoe must withstand a 75 lb. impact with 12.7 mm (0.50 in.) clearance for men's and 11.9 mm (0.468 in.) for women's. Electrical Hazard - Electrical hazard (EH) shoes are designed to protect the wearer from open electrical circuits in accordance with ASTM standards . These shoes are secondary protection on surfaces that are substantially insulated. Slip Resistant - There are no government regulations standardizing slip resistance however all FSI styles marked with a Slip Resistant Icon fall into the Better or above category according to industry standards.
